This log slice depicts Woden/Odin and his wild hunt (and valkyries) riding across the sky before the northern lights. Works as both a spooky Samhain/Halloween decoration and especially as a Yuletide/Christmas decoration.
 
A hanging pine log slice plaque with a hanging hoop added to the back. These were painted in time for Samhain/Halloween, but if like me you are always drawn to the dark, chthonic and mysterious in religion and myth, and art in general, then this will be welcome on your wall all year round.
 
Slices are approximately 16-17cm wide and weighing about 155-160g. They are painted with acrylic. Keep in mind these have a bark surround which may be a little brittle.
