Burghead Bull Celtic Pewter Pendant

This pendant is taken from one of 6 surviving stones from over 30 mentioned in historical records. The bull symbol was thought to adorn the ramparts of the Pictish fort at Burghead on the Moray coast. The bull was an important symbol that represented strength and fertility.
