I am a woodworker, artist and craftsman based in Sussex. Working with a range of media and techniques between oils, inks, carpentry, carving, pyrography, glass engraving and more, the focus of my work is nature and traditional folk arts and crafts of Europe, grounded in the myths, symbols and animism of Europe and the Mediterranean.

 

Beginning with a more Germanic and Norse focus this has broadened over time to include common patterns, themes and symbols grounded in myths found throughout a broadly shared cultural and historical heritage, between both the rustic and the cradle of civilisation, as well as incorporating some fantasy themes.

 

Commissions and custom orders are always welcome and the process of working on a custom design or piece with a customer is always a pleasure.
